Martha Olivas is a Family Law Paralegal at Barton & Associates, where she works alongside Family Law Attorney Desirée Flye to guide clients through every stage of their family law matters. In her role, Martha manages case files, maintains consistent communication with clients, prepares and organizes legal documents, coordinates case deadlines, and provides steady support from a case’s earliest stages through its resolution.

Martha understands that family law matters often involve some of the most personal, stressful, and emotionally challenging circumstances a person can face. She strives to be a dependable and compassionate resource for clients, offering reassurance and clarity during uncertain times, while helping Desiree ensure that each case receives the attention, organization, and care it deserves. Martha finds real fulfillment in being part of a team that helps clients navigate difficult transitions and move forward toward the next chapter of their lives with confidence.

Outside of the office, family is especially important to Martha. She cherishes every opportunity to spend time with her children, though she’s currently adjusting to the bittersweet experience of having one of them away at college. She’s also a proud cat lover who enjoys unwinding at home in the company of her cats.

In her free time, Martha can often be found playing video games or getting lost in a good book, both of which offer a welcome escape and a chance to recharge. She also has a genuine love for live music and makes a point of attending performances and supporting local musicians whenever the opportunity arises. Whether she’s spending time with her family, discovering a new book or game, or enjoying a live show, Martha values the simple things that help her relax, recharge, and have fun outside of the office.
